Since July of 1971, Footsloggers has served the outdoor community. Let us start with the origins of the name of the store, the term "footslogger" can be found in Roget’s Thesaurus under the verb "walk." It is a World War II term meaning "to march or tramp through mud." The title was given to us by our good friend Paul Daimler, who now resides in Connecticut. We still can't think of a better name. By focusing on items that we would purchase for ourselves, we have a selection of quality goods that offers great value and a long life of use.

Footsloggers is proud to support many community organizations on our website and make them available to you! One of the newest to our website is KAMPN (Kids with Autism Making Progress in Nature). KAMPN's mission is to provide an option rarely available for families having children with autism to experience activities in nature at Camp Cogger. It will provide a program for the child and family as well as provide an opportunity for the wholesome interaction of the families during the week.
