Rapid Media’s 6th annual Reel Paddling Film Festival showcases the world’s best paddling films to audiences in Canada, United States and around the world. The festival inspires more people to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push physical and emotional extremes, embrace the lifestyle and appreciate the heritage of the wild places we paddle. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door, and include one raffle ticket. They are on sale now at Outdoor Programs Base Camp located in the Student Recreation Center. This event is open to the public!
All proceeds will benefit the Media and Marketing club which helps the student staff of Outdoor Programs pay for professional development opportunities and wilderness certifications.
In addition, OP plans to screen the brand new paddling film Frontier. This should be one of the first screenings on the East Coast. The trailer can be found at: http://www.river-roots.com/home.html
