In light of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Footsloggers is hosting a benefit concert in the courtyard of the Boone store on April 15, 2011 beginning at 5pm. Footsloggers employees Sheila Ostroff and Thomas Kloepfer (who recently studied abroad in Japan) have organized what we hope to be a great fundraiser benefiting Second Harvest Japan food bank. Expect live music, rock climbing (thanks Rock Dimensions!), face painting, good food, a raffle and more!
The event is BYOB, and we ask for a $5 donation if you can spare it – all proceeds go to Second Harvest Japan. If you would like to help out (prizes for the raffle, food donations, etc.), send an email to info (at) footsloggers (dot) com. If you are unable to attend but would still like to help, you can donate directly on the Second Harvest website. Thanks, and see you on April 15!
