Jun 8th, 2010: Coinciding with National Trails Day, Saturday, June 5th was Land Trust Day. Select local business from Boone, Beech Mountain and West Jefferson partnered with Blue Ridge Conservancy (BRC), pledging a percentage of their day’s sales to the land trust.

A Bold New Chapter for Land Conservation in Western North Carolina
May 10th, 2010: This week, Blue Ridge Rural Land Trust (BRRLT) based in West Jefferson and High Country Conservancy (HCC) based in Boone, announced that they are joining forces creating a new organization called the new Blue Ridge Conservancy.
